Mrs. Pitt’s - Err-rr (o)

Posted by StormWarning on 10 Oct 2008 | Tagged as: Commentary, Pavlov

She’s a beautiful woman in a beautiful pose in a tasteful picture taken by her husband Brad Pitt. The photo is an wonderful and intimate view of a natural event. I see nothing wrong with it.

“Angelina posed for Brad in one of the photos while breastfeeding. It’s really beautiful and tastefully done.’

“The photos are amazing,” added a second source.

Angelina says: ‘I’m just a mom and I’m very grounded by my family. I’m very happy, and I’m so lucky. ‘The world can like me, hate me, fall apart around me, and at least, you know, I wake up with my little kids and I’m happy.’

More…So why is there such a hub-bub and Internet buzz over Mrs. Pitt’s tit?

La Leche League International, the world’s oldest breast-feeding support organization, applauds Jolie’s apparent decision to be photographed nursing.

“Breast-feeding in public reveals a whole lot less than what has been revealed on the red carpet. … I think we do need more role models like Angelina Jolie willing to be photographed and say, `Hey look, it can be done, it oughta be done,’” said La Leche spokeswoman Jane Crouse.

Its the voyeuristic world in which we live. IMO, she is strikingly beautiful, especially in that cover shot.

Shedding the Sharia Veil for a Bikini

Posted by StormWarning on 15 Aug 2008 | Tagged as: Jihad, Pavlov

Almost unthinkably, Arab women who normally must wear a diving suit-like head-to-toe covering on mixed beaches can now wear bikinis on women only beaches! How liberal is that? This is happening only in Egypt where women shed their Sharia veils and undress to bikinis or one piece suits.

Welcome to “La Femme”, French for “The Woman”, in the posh resort of Marina, where women can lounge on sunbeds, tan, join in a daily belly-dance contest or breastfeed their babies shielded by barriers of palm tree branches from the prying eyes of men.

It is gated and shielded and costs $14 dollars on week days and $16 on weekends. Not suprisingly, this is causing quite a stir.

A security guard posted a few yards outside the beach club argued that such places catering to the whims of women were just another form of “decadence”.

A motorist agreed.

“These women should fear God, not men,” he said, asking why they could not keep the belly-dancing for home and family events.

How’s that for your Pavlov moment? Somewhat of a visual jihad???

Chupacabra Floats Ashore on Long Island

Posted by StormWarning on 31 Jul 2008 | Tagged as: Current Affairs, Humor, Pavlov, Science

No doubt the conspiracy theorists will claim that the “hell demon” that floated ashore at Montauk Point on L.I. is the product of the Dept. of Agriculture lab at Plum Island (well, DHS Lab), but that’s bull! Its a chupacabra. Must have gotten caught in the current.

The close proximity of the Plum Island facility and the site of the Montauk Monster’s discovery had fueled speculation that the Monster of Montauk is property of the USDA and may have been an experiment gone wrong or a byproduct of improper disposal.

Meadow muffins!

Its a freakin’ Chupacabra! While the NY’er science community tries to figure out what it is, and while the anti-NBAF conspiracists try to prove that it is some type of mutation caused by the Plum Island facility research, and still others claim that the photo was photoshopped, all they need to do is ask a Texan about the Chupacabra. Go prove that it isn’t!

Terrorist Threats and Wardrobe Malfunctions

Posted by StormWarning on 15 Apr 2008 | Tagged as: Commentary, Current Affairs, Jihad, Opinions, Pavlov

Odd editorial combination? Not sure how I feel about a report of the chilling martrydom rantings of Abdulla Ahmed Ali, the leader of the self-styled band of Islamists who threatened to blow up airliners bound for the U.S. in the same newspaper in which not one, but two bikini malfunctions are revealed. Clearly contradictory. But maybe, in a small way, writing about bin Laden and Ali in the same post as bare breasts will send a message to Islamic jihadists around the world.

Speaking in front of a black flag covered in Arabic writing, Ali said: “This the opportunity to punish and humiliate the kuffar (unbelievers), to teach them a lesson they will never forget.

“It is to tell them we Muslim people have pride.”

With a pointed reference to Osama bin Laden he added: “Sheikh Osama warned you many times to leave our lands or you will be destroyed, and now the time has come for you to be destroyed.”

I guess that the Daily Mail panders to a uniquely diverse audience. First there is the issue of Sienna Miller’s bikini incident (she recovered) and then there is Tamara Mellon’s beach/ocean romp with Christian Slater.

There is a special sort of wonderfulness in a post that combines the names of two jihadists and naked women…maybe in some way, these terrorists will feel the pain. I doubt they’d be happy being linked together with them. In fact, I’ll bet that they’d see it as an insult.

Storm, doing my part to defeat terrorism one boob at a time.
