Poppycock and Predictions

Now I’ve seen everything, and if you bother to spend your time looking at this embedded video, you too, will say, “wow, I can’t believe that people believe this stuff.”
Since its conception in the late 1990’s, the Web Bot Project has made a number of very accurate and insightful predictions regarding coming events. Originally designed to track stock market trends, the Web Bot uses a system of spider that crawl the Internet looking for patterns of behavior, trends and chatter pertaining to coming events. This tool is believed to be able to forecast the future by tapping into the collective unconscious of society.
Foresees a West Coast/Vancouver area large scale earthquake around December 12, 2008.
Will there be a September 11th scale attack on the U.S. next week as predicted? One thing is for sure, “tinfoil” or not, you can’t stop people from believing what they want to believe.
Stay safe, stay secure and keep that roll of duct tape handy.

I dunno if this is a joke or not, but i don’t think I’m that gullible.
Can’t be a joke if people believe it. That they believe it is the joke.
I know one thing, I had to turn off the sound. That alone sent off the BS alert.
Yeah, but…NIN is just a step above the Web Bot project (in my opinion of course). But if the information doesn’t hit the closed source materials or a place like the CT Blog, its not real either (in my opinion of course).
My eyes aren’t good enough to crawl through that mess but it doesn’t take an expert to understand AQ could make some significant gains with a smart attack right now, like against the petroleum infrastructure. Gas spiking up to 6-7 bucks a gallon would put a lot of financial pressure on joe sixpack and leave him screaming for retreat, especially if AQ words the responsibility statement correctly. Biden might get his vision of choppers over the US Embassy after all.
This country is dangerously divided and sitting on a precipice right now. We absolutely positively must come together, but only Sarah Palin shows any real propensity to be a stand-up leader right now, and she’s quite green.
Interesting take on things AC. Understanding that the timing is “right” is a whole lot different than predicting an attack (understanding that the “timing” is always “right”). National Intelligence Network is not a credible source…I don’t care who else says that it is…if restricted source information is not warning of an attack, and if professionals like those at the Counterterrorism Blog are not discussing it, as far as I am concerned, it is nothing. Then again, the prediction is that within the next 48 hours, we will be hit. So, time will tell.
And yes, the oil infrastructure is vulnerable…mostly to hurricanes…and I don’t think that drawing analogies to the Vietnam withdrawal are constructive.

Yes, agreed Biden was wrong to do that but he was quite insistent at the time.
There is a school of thought that says the terrorists might wait until early next year now that it appears likely Obama will get the nod.
And what school is that? The same one that called for an attack yesterday? Or the one that called for a sneak attack on Iran last year? As discussed in my post from Wednesday, NIN is not a credible source. NOT A CREDIBLE SOURCE. Period.
Too many people are gullible and now protecting their own positions, even in the face of clear facts. I won’t be specific since the answers are so obvious.
From Debbie Schlussel’s blog:
UH-OH Northeast “Intelligence” Network Steps In It: Fake “Terrorism Expert” Douglas Hagmann Admits Plagiarism, Fabricated Info
Fact is that so many people spent so much time and effort trying to discredit Obama over rumors that they failed to spend that same effort defeating him on the issues. That is an American tragedy.
