Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama’s Birth Certificate

Of all of the reasons to not vote for the Obama-Biden ticket (*), the one that should mean the least, in fact not even be on the radar screen is the hooey about his birth certificate. For this, I “borrow” from AJ Strata who writes in The Cult Of The COLB Crashes Into Reality:
There will always be some dupes who won’t let go (some people still don’t think we went to the moon). No wonder America has lost respect for bloggers and conservatives and politics ‘as usual’. This is a huge waste of time for anyone who really opposes Obama for President. It is akin to believing their is a hidden magical wand somewhere that will make Obama just disappear, if the right heroine or hero can just find it. Pathetic.
I’ve got very good reasons for my infrequent posting recently. Most of all is that I’ve much more important uses of my time because of business. But the reality, too, is that there are way too many people who simply don’t get it. What is “it?”
The naming of Joe Biden as his running mate does not in any way compensate for Obama’s wet behind the ears approach to foreign policy. Yes, Joe Biden is a long standing Senate expert on foreign policy. But, I would have been alot happier if it was a Biden-Obama ticket (*). Then again, many of the same people who can’t let go of the birth certificate issue (certificate of live birth), will never let go of Biden plagiarism. Do you know who the best candidate not running is? More after someone guesses.
PS: AJ is right…The birth certificate story should be dead. Wanna bet one or more of the “well known” conservative blogs pick up on it again?

Obama’s nationality issue dead? You wish. If he’s not a citizen, and it will come out, if that’s the case, then he cannot be elected.
If he is, then, he can be defeated.
If that is all that you have to hang your hat on then McCain (my candidate) is doomed. What is wrong with you people?
Obama’s reaction to the Russia-Georgia crisis was gobs more revealing than any birth cert issue. He’s in way over his head, and even showed it with his Freudian slip announcing Biden as his Veep yesterday. So the Dems go into the convention with an empty suit and a loose cannon. I still think it’s not too late for Hillary to save the day.
AC now you see, your’s is a much more logical approach (and one that I would expect from someone like you). The point is that people are wasting their time trying to prove myths and rumors when right there, staring them right in the eye, is a laundry list of reasons (in real time) to ensure that Obama not get elected. As for Hillary, lets sit back and watch the convention, and especially that first ballot.
I disagree re: the COLB. Why? Because as an ardent McCain supporter, I’ll take ANY legitimate ammo that will preclude Obama from becoming our next POTUS. For many people, the COLB is an issue; for others, it’s BHO’s “above my pay grade” remark and extreme pro-choice stance; for others, it’s his abyssmal reaction to the Georgia-Russia crisis. Again (said respectfully), I really don’t care on what grounds people won’t vote this candidate into office, so long as they DON’T vote him into office.
I disagree with your disagreement, Denise. Chasing false mythical reasons to communicate why McCain is an entirely better alternative to Obama hurts the cause. The more people insist on arguing the mythical/made-up reasons to not vote for Obama, the harder it is for people to “hear” the raitonal ones.
I read a fair number of conservative blogs, but this is the first I’ve heard the CoLB story mentioned. I haven’t even heard it discussed on the news. I don’t think this is a story that has legs. As all but the most stupid realize, anyone can go out and file a lawsuit about anything. The same goes for bloggers: anyone can write about anything. So lumping conservative bloggers together doesn’t really seem to accomplish very much. Unless the underlying point, like the New Yorker Obama cover, is to tar and feather all conservatives.
There are serious reasons to object to an Obama candidacy: most notably his lack of any relevant experience whatsoever. He will be both a foreign policy and economic disaster, if elected. Utopian idealists always tend towards totalitarianism. Oppressing freedom is the only way they can enforce their perfect view of society on others who don’t share it.
