American Melting Pot (Not for Mexicans)

America is known as the melting pot. People of all sizes, shapes and colors come here to take advantage of all of the benefits of freedom. A new study by a Duke Univ. economist shows that newcomers are assimilating more quickly than their predecessors did 100 years ago — especially Cubans, Vietnamese and Filipinos — but not Mexicans!
Mexicans — by far the most numerous nationality — lag significantly behind other big immigrant groups, possibly because a lack of legal status keeps many Mexican immigrants from advancing.
Why? Its obvious:
● lower rates of citizenship
● higher incidences of teenage pregnancy
● higher incidences of incarceration.
Sorry to say that its a vicious circle, and one that generally validates at least one stereotype.

Harkonnen, this isn’t a political blog. This is about terrorism (a subject I know a little bit about). Your comment has been removed for abuse and cursing. Dead around here? I don’t know…maybe it is. But the standards here are pretty high. Word of advice. Abusive language and threats will get you alot more than you bargained for.
And by the way, the Mexicans are a threat to our National security.
“And by the way, the Mexicans are a threat to our National security.”
This might come as a surprise to you, but I totally agree…my earlier post delineated otherwise.
I cannot determine if they’re Mexican, or whatever, but we have a large population of illegals living in our area. Our kids at school have been approached by illegals trying to sell them meth. The meth problem is getting worse. Who’d ever have thought that our own hamlet here would ever be invaded by scum like this.
Our national borders are supposed to be protected by government and protecting our citizens should be their top concern. I’d like government to explain to me what a fence is going to do, when all it will really do is attract more vermin by tunneling under it.
Instead of a fence, we should be making our country far less attractive:
1. Stopping the anchor babies rule;
2. No more free health care unless it’s a life or death situation;
3. No more jobs - permanently remove business licenses if they hire illegals.
I am more than familiar with the problem of illegal immigration and some of the countermeasures…and about border security in general (that’s too many clues already). I have a number of friends who live in your neck of the woods…I didn’t know that you had an illegal problem there. Then again, its not just restricted to one state.
- The anchor baby issue requires a Constitutional change
- the health care issue is problematic
- if you want to learn about businesses and illegals research the IMAGE program at ICE.
- meth isn’t a new problem (hillbilly heroine etc.)
