Introduction

This is the introduction to a new blog we’re trying out.
Stormwarning has a ton of experience in the field of counter-terrorism. We’re going to try to keep people somewhat up-to-date on events occurring in this all-too-important area. Plus, we’re going to try to do it in such a way that most people can understand it. Some things are not too techy, some things are way over my head. I’d like to understand how it works better. This is the place we’re going to explore that angle. Plus, we hope to feature news, and events, that affect the world.
Enjoy.
And please, feel free to comment. The only dumb question is the one never asked.

With all humility (for those who know me, often in short supply) and thanks to my good friend Moon, I must comment.
While I am not an “expert” in the areas of counterterrorism or law enforcement or national/homeland security (as many others in the field truly are), I am an entrepreneur (a practitioner if you will) with extensive experience and exposure to issues in these areas.
By the nature of my business, I have knowledge of the issues relating to homeland security in general (including those of document authentication, counterfeiting, symbology, and first responders) as well as the still emerging homeland security industry. I also have exposure to the world of track, trace and locate technologies. And I have an intense interest in all of these areas.
I also have had alot of exposure to Congressional offices and a number of related federal agencies.
